The future of sustainable cities it’s on the horizon. The title of my project is S.A.F. which are the acronyms for Sustainable community, Affordable housing, and Fresh city. This project sets up to provide relief for a virtuous metropolis.
The project involves private, semi-private, and public green spaces that help to minimize CO2 emissions. To aid the process, there are carbon capture machines strategically installed around the building to help clean the air and make the city more enjoyable.
The units are designed for families who earn less than a certain amount each year. These residents would be given electric cars in order to reduce air pollution to the very minimum. Additionally, solar panels would be mounted to the window frame that doubles as windows collecting all of these energies.
Finally, there are multiple green spaces provided throughout the building which also incorporates green nature harvesting helping to mitigate water scarcity.
A new city for a better living ecosystem; this is an idea that illustrates my proposal for a city that will allow the community to have an enriched lifestyle.
New rules will be applied to respect a majority of votes and concerns of the community. This new concept is to allow residents that are of low income to be given the opportunityfor a better living system that is affordable. Affordable housing will be provided to families that make less than a certain amount yearly. This new concept is designed to provide more economical units and more enjoyable housings for the residents within the city. Nonetheless, the units will mostly be designed near to the retail stores for a much convenient trajectory for the citizens. The housing units are divided into two types, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Amenities will include large private living spaces that are directly connected to the housing units, indoor and outdoor community area, semi-private areas, playground areas, and parking spaces. These amenities provided, allow the community to have an enriched lifestyle, being able to focus on their families and the ecosystem.
This new city focuses on eliminating as much air pollution as possible, therefore residents will be given electric cars. The housing community will use solar and greywater from the city. This self-sufficient housing system would be the first of its kind, offered to the low-income residents for great possibilities to have a healthier living area that based on their income is also affordable.
